YOUR MOMENT

YOUR MOMENT is coming in just a while more,
When you will finally figure out what it was all for.

When you discover why you had to suffer in that pain,
Why you were forced to try… then fail… again and again.

You will know at that time why you were made to wait,
It will be not a minute too soon or a second too late.

It will be YOUR MOMENT.

And experiences you thought were meaningless,
And the people you thought of even less…

And the days you didn’t think you would make it,
And the times you didn’t think you could take it…

And all the mistakes, headaches, re-takes, and for God sakes…
Will somehow work toward the magic YOUR MOMENT makes.

So, if you’re laboring in a subpar reality,
Facing the strain of your own mortality,

And doubting YOUR MOMENT will ever come,
Questioning where you got the foolish notion from…

Know this, it is even closer than it was before,
It’s as real as the land on a distant shore.

It will justify the past simultaneously making it irrelevant,
And totally free you to become someone benevolent.

Also, it will serve a purpose not just to honour you,

YOUR MOMENT will be exactly what you hoped for,
Worth every fight you have been on the ropes for.

It may take a lot longer than you anticipate,
But when it does, the stronger you will celebrate.
