WAITING

WAITING – it is the hardest part,
It’s a difficult position when you’re stuck at the start.

Because nobody desires to take it slow,
It’s human nature to want to get up and go,

WAITING is frustrating,
It’s aggravating and irritating.

We want it right away,
Actually, we want it as of yesterday.

But sometimes WAITING is a necessary procedure,
That protects from the foolishness of being too eager.

For impatience leads to forcing things and unwarranted hurry,
Creating stressful situations full of nervousness and worry.

Often WAITING allows for the time that is needed,
To prevent forward progress from being impeded.

WAITING - it can make you strong, able and ready,
To shoulder the weight when the world gets heavy.

It lets you to gain experience, wisdom and understanding,
To handle life’s problem when they get demanding.

WAITING can be a way to spiritually transform,
Unleashing a beacon that shines in the storm.

It helps us to learn that just because a dream is delayed it doesn’t mean it’s denied,
It builds the perseverance necessary to be tested and tried.

WAITING shapes character, ingraining faith in the soul,
It creates value and keeps your ego under control.

It often leads to a smarter decision,
Giving your mind the space to act with precision.

Sometimes WAITING removes obstacles out of your way,
Revealing the right path when you’ve gone astray.

Yes, WAITING can bring about the perfect time,
For you to step forward as the stars align.

So try to see WAITING as a pro, not a con,
I know it gets hard as the days carry on.

But that dead-air time is slowly creating,
A more mature you, through the process of WAITING.
